MonitorLATINO announces Second Annual Monitor Music Awards

Monitor Music Awards partners with Univision to broadcast in the U.S. exclusively on the UniMás network

Today, Latin radio chart, MonitorLATINO, proudly announced its second annual Monitor Music Awards Show that will take place Sunday, October 17, 2021, on Prime Time. The Monitor Music Award Show will be produced by Emax Group, with the support of Univision’s network UniMás in the U.S., Televisa/Telehit in Mexico, the Albavision group, and Claro TV in Latin America and the Caribbean. This year’s highly-anticipated show will welcome Latin industry’s top artists, actors, influencers, and industry leaders for a one-of-a-kind experience.

“This event will unite the industry’s best artists, in a unique event of great production quality that celebrates our latin heritage,” said Juan Carlos Hidalgo, president of monitorLatino.

“It’s a pleasure and honor to bring our audience the second edition of Monitor Music Awards on Univision’s network UniMás in the U.S. The magnificent event, which will broadcast from Miami, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Mexico, is a celebration of our diversity, culture, and music,” said Ignacio Meyer, Executive Vice President of Music and Non-Scripted Entertainment of Univision.

The Monitor Music Awards Show will be mainly broadcasted from the Paramount World Center in Miami, Florida with additional international production locations including Coco Bongo in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; the Hyatt Grand Regency in San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Guadalajara, Mexico will be satellite broadcasting locations. German Gonzalez, president of Emax Group Corp, states that the Monitor Music Awards will have a broad distribution throughout multiple territories, that will include main television networks and digital platforms throughout the United States and Latin America, including:
