Gloria Trevi renews her Record Deal Universal Music Latino

Latin music icon, Gloria Trevi, renewed her record deal with Universal Music Latino on March 26 in Miami, FL. Jesus Lopez, Chairman & CEO Latin America & Iberian Peninsula, discovered and first signed Gloria Trevi in 1989.

Now, 32 years later, their strong friendship and the trust built over the years became an essential part of this agreement in addition to the numerous successes together and Gloria’s unbeatable musical career. This new milestone shows that the pop superstar continues at the peak of her career and still has a long way to go.

“I am going to explode with new music, uncontrollable madness, and heartbreaking romantic songs, to continue with the soundtrack of our lives I have renewed with Universal, and this new era will be more epic and fun … Why do we want life if it isn’t to live it!,” said Gloria Trevi.

“Gloria, from the first day she got on stage, has defended women’s rights, not only with her songs, but also with her vital struggle and continues to fight for the women of Mexico and the world to have equal opportunities and rights,” added Jesus Lopez.

Gloria Trevi continues to represent the innovation, the struggle, the passion, the energy that she has shown in each of her albums and in each of the stages that she has stepped on during these 32 years. Her musical career is incomparable and it is a great pride for the entire Universal Music team to continue working with her so that her dreams continue to come true.

Trevi has four # 1 albums in the United States and is among Pollstar’s “Top 50 Highest-grossing Female Artists of the 21st Century”, accompanied by superstars like Madonna, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, among others. Her “Diosa de la Noche” tour was awarded as the highest grossing tour by a Mexican female artist and closed 2020 among the Top 10 “Most Listened to Female Artists” list on Spotify Mexico.

In the midst of the recent crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Gloria Trevi promoted important philanthropic works to help Mexican communities, support the Ana Dalai Foundation and advocate for workers in association with México Artesanal. This Latin and Mexican pride brings his soul to her music and to helping others in need.

Also, last month, Trevi was awarded with the Lo Nuestro Lifetime Achievement Award. Currently, she is working on her new album that will be released in the summer of 2021. The whole world will continue to dance and enjoy Gloria Trevi‘s rhythm for many years to come.
