Sech Celebrates 2 nominations at Premio lo Nuestro

2019’s #1 URBAN ARTIST, SECH, RECEIVES HIS FIRST 2 PREMIO LO NUESTRO NOMINATIONS

The leader of the new Latin urban generation, SECH, starts the year off with 2 nominations at the 32nd annual Premio Lo Nuestro, being the first time the Panamanian artist is nominated at the prestigious award ceremony. After a successful 2019 with the release of his global hit “Otro Trago,” which reached #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart, the urban artist continues to show the world why his music is breaking barriers.

The artist was nominated under the categories “New Male Artist” and “Remix of the Year” for Otro Trago. Sech continues his grand success in the music industry following 2019, where he obtained three Latin Grammys® nominations under the categories Best Urban Album for Sueños and Best Urban Song and Best Fusion Performance for “Otro Trago” ft. Darell.

2019 was an epic year for Sech, as described by critics from various US media outlets. Along with being named Billboard’s “Latin Artist on the Rise” and Pandora’s “Artist to Watch,” Sech managed to captivate global audiences with his viral sensation “Otro Trago” ft. Darell, ranking #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 and #2 on the Top 50 Global Chart. The track also reached #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart. It should be noted that Sech is also a member of Rich Music’s “The Avengers” alongside Feid, Lenny Tavárez, Justin Quiles and Dalex, whom together form part of “The Academy” – their debut album was released in 2019 and has become a global phenomenon.

The Panamanian artist kicks off his first US tour this upcoming February 28th, 2020 in Dallas, TX. This year’s Premio Lo Nuestro awards will be held on Thursday, February 20th at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. This will be the first ceremony of the decade that will be honoring Latin music and will be broadcasted by Univision at 7pm EST/ 6 PM central.
