Aiming to make women feel empowered, unique, sexy and confident, OMG Swimwear sets to make another splash in the swimwear industry with not one but two collections, “Oro” and “Tulum” by Andrea Gaviria. For Andrea, these are not just swimsuits, they are a lifestyle, as each piece possesses its own mood and story. Andrea Gaviria premiered these highly anticipated collections on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Faena Forum in Miami Beach.
Inspired by her best selling 2020 collection, “Golden Collection”, Andrea hopes to amaze with the launch of her new “Oro” collection, which represents …The second collection, “Tulum”, is inspired by the destination’s vibrant scenes, and is meant to encourage women everywhere to feel they’re on an endless vacation, while at the same time captivating spectators who’ll say, “OMG”.
Andrea Gaviria showed interest in fashion from an early age. Born and raised in Miami, Andrea is from a Colombian descent. Her mother played a key role in her upbringing, and motivated her to be independent, empowered and to follow her dreams. Gaviria took her mother’s advice to heart and lived her own personal dream when launching her swimsuit brand, OMG Swimwear, in 2010.
As her business continues to grow, Andrea Gaviria plans to open additional stores in the U.S. and internationally, and eventually her own factory. Most recently, she started working on a plus-size collection to align with her brand’s messaging of inclusivity and empowerment for all women. Stay tuned for many more exciting projects to come!
