Natti Natasha conquers No. 1 on Billboard Latin Airplay

«Antes Que Salga El Sol» by Natti Natasha with Prince Royce Reigns No. 1 this week on Billboard’s Latin Airplay

As one of the leaders of the woman empowerment movement in Latin music, Natti Natasha reigns at No. 1 this week on Billboard’s Latin Airplay with her single «Antes que salga el sol» with Dominican star Prince Royce. Released under the Pina Records / Sony Music Latin label, the song has surpassed more than 50 million streams. This marks Natti Natasha’s seventh No. 1 single in the U.S.

Produced by DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz and Rafael Salcedo «Neneto», «Antes que salga el sol» is a romantic and refreshing track that’s unique to what’s being heard on radio today. The lyrics express that although we are different in many ways and that we may have taken different paths, that we can always meet again and live new experiences. «Antes Que Salga El Sol» represents a rebirth for Natti Natasha, who last February stunned the world when she appeared in the middle of an enchanted forest during the Premio Lo Nuestro 2021 award ceremony, and surprised viewers with the emotional unveiling of her first pregnancy, a moment that instantly became one of the most historic moments in the award show history. The music video for «Antes que salga el sol» was filmed in Miami, FL and was directed by acclaimed director Carlos Pérez for Elastic People, and has more than 30 million views on YouTube. Apart from celebrating today her No. 1 on U.S. radio, the song also peaked No. 1 on Mexico radio airplay charts.

After sharing both an artistic and personal rebirth with the world, for the first time in the history of the urban-reggaeton genre Natti Natasha led a call out for a union among women in the genre. To celebrate Women’s History Month, Natti created the new female anthem «Las Nenas» with Cazzu, Farina and La Duraca. Produced by Dimelo Flow, BK and Luny, the track and video threw social media networks into a frenzy, resulting in more than 226K videos uploaded by users on Tik Tok, reaffirming that Natti Natasha continues to be one of the most influential artists in Latin music and one of the leading female recording artists in the world. The song and video have generated more than 35 million combined views and streams between Spotify and YouTube.

To kick off the month of April, the Dominican singer took over the cover of one of the UK’s leading magazines, Phoenix UK, and America’s #1 Latino publication, People en Español, simultaneously.
