Puerto Rican rising artist Jossef releases his new single “Sexo Casual,” which is characterized by its catchy and danceable rhythm and, above all, brings an important message of social awareness targeting youth. Released under the JR Records label, the track is now available on all digital music platforms, while the music video is available now on the artist’s official YouTube channel.
Produced by Los Harmónicos, “Sexo Casual” (“Casual Sex”) is a song that invites audiences to dance from beginning to end, with Jossef’s powerful voice and explosive sounds that have become trademark to the artist’s musical style. However, beyond being a danceable track, through its lyrics, Jossef brings a message of social awareness to all youth about the value of life, the importance of education and to think their actions through. “I love this song because it invites you to dance and connect. However, although the story behind the song is about two friends who are secretly together, I want to use my platform to bring a message to the youth about the importance of protecting themselves and doing things right when having casual sex,” said Jossef .
For its part, the official video was filmed in Miami, FL and directed by Zak & Squid from WildHouse Pictures. In the video, Jossef flirts, dances and enjoys his time with a woman. Now, according to the young artist, he also wanted to imply that before being with someone, it’s important to have a connection and think your actions through.
With over 60 million views across all of his digital platforms, Jossef kicked off 2021 with his track “Persia Remix” alongside rising artists Eix and Jamby “El Favo”, whose music video already has over 1.5 million on YouTube while his previous releases,“Hostages” and “Once”, were a trend on Tik Tok. This year, Jossef will continue to release powerful songs to ignite the party and with more social and visual content.
