Feid’s Global Hit «PORFA» peaked No.1 on Spotify Colombia Top 200 chart
Today, Feid releases his most ambitious track yet: a star-studded re-imagining of his Justin Quiles-assisted global smash “PORFA,” off latest latest record FERXXO VOL 1: M.O.R.
The high-octane remix, made in quarantine, sees the Latin GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter and composer swapping verses with the likes of Latin juggernauts J. Balvin, Maluma, and Nicky Jam as well as Panamanian singer Sech. The track was produced by reggaeton hitmaker Sky Rompiendo (J. Balvin, Bad Bunny, Juanes).
“Everything is new…the structure, the rhythm, the sound…it maintains the first hit’s essence, but Sky [Rompiendo] and I have created something very different together,” says Feid on the remix. “I worked with and have known Balvin for years, and Maluma and I solidified a bond when I worked on his last album. In a lot of ways, I’m taking advantage of this remix to make something new—it feels like my first song ever.”
Back in May, Feid released the intimate shot-in-quarantine video for “AVXNTADXR”, the closing track on FERXXO VOL 1: M.O.R. The original version of «PORFA» peaked #51 on Spotify’s global songs with 120M+ streams and charted No. 1 in his native Colombia. The track also peaked, No. 2 in Argentina & Uruguay, No. 4 in Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru, while in Bolivia and Spain, peaked No. 6. FERXXO Vol 1: M.O.R has surpassed more than 350 million global streams.
