In March 2020, BOZA formed part of RADAR’s first version for the Central American and Caribbean region.
After incomparable success with his viral hit “Hecha Pa’ Mí”, which reached #14 on the Spotify Global Chart, the urban Panamanian artist BOZA joins RADAR, Spotify’s Global Emerging Artist Program, which launched in March 2020 to highlight emerging artists from around the world. Through this new partnership, BOZA has become the first Latin artist to join RADAR (US).
The Panamanian singer-songwriter not only joined the US RADAR program this month, he was also selected in March 2020 as the first RADAR artist for the Central American and Caribbean regions.
Discussing his excitement about RADAR, BOZA says, “This is another dream that I didn’t think would come so soon. It is very important to connect and see this happening in my country and in Central America, but as an artist to come to the United States, and see that my music is moving everywhere and that the American audience also appreciates my sounds, it’s wonderful. This is going to help me make my dream come true!!”
Jose Nova, Senior Editor for Spotify Latin America, commented, “In the last two years, we have witnessed how BOZA has developed one of the strongest fan bases in all of Central America and how fast he’s grown across Latin American and Europe. BOZA constantly provides a unique narrative for his fans through his lyrics filled with profound connections to his audiences across the world.”
As a RADAR artist, BOZA will form part of RADAR’s playlist, will create content for Spotify Singles and will receive on and off platform promotional support for his upcoming releases to turn him into a global star. Additionally, Boza will give us a sneak peek from a never released song, as he walks us through some of his inspirational stories from his childhood.
