Bebo Dumont is a Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning singer, musician, and producer recognized as a powerful live performer and a versatile songwriter. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dumont has used his incomparable voice and unique style to carve out his space in the Latin Music scene.
Dumont started his musical journey in 2008, playing with local musicians and trying to find his place in the lively Puerto Rican music community. Since then, he has been a part of the reggae band, International Dub Ambassadors, and more notably has served as drummer and vocalist for the acclaimed band Cultura Profética. In 2020, Bebo won a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album for his work as a producer and musician on Cultura Profética’s album Sobrevolando, and this year he scored a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album for his work on Rawayana’s album Quien Trae Las Cornetas?. Dumont has performed on stages worldwide like Coachella and SXSW and has produced music for notable artists, including Kaytranada, Anderson Paak, Álvaro Díaz, Elena Rose, and Rawayana.
After years of collaborating with various musical groups, Bebo Dumont is forging his path and creating his own wave. His new era started with his recent drop, “Ovaltine,” featuring Puerto Rican rapper Enyel C.
