“Misión Cumplida” is certified Gold Record by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for its sales in the United States
Less than a month for the 11th year anniversary of the Diva de la Banda’s unfortunate death, Jenni Rivera, Sony Music Latin, and Jenni Rivera Enterprises celebrate her life and incomparable legacy with the launch of a new format of Jenni’s successful posthumous album, “Misión Cumplida.” They launched the Vinyl Record of “Misión Cumplida” to offer a different experience for fans with this new release, which recently was certified GOLD by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales in the United States.
“With the great support that the album has received, we wanted to also release it in this new format, not only to honor my mother but to offer new experiences to the fans and to continue honoring the indelible legacy of my mom. Furthermore, this 2023 marks 11 years since her death, and this is also a way to remember and celebrate her,” said Jacquie Rivera, CEO of Jenni Rivera Enterprises.
“Misión Cumplida” is a gift from Jenni Rivera’s children to the fans, and a tribute to their mother, which includes 8 unreleased songs by the Diva de la Banda. The album’s success has been reflected on the charts, with one of the most important songs on the album, “Pedacito de Mí” reaching No. 1 on Mexico’s Radio Chart. The song “El Que Hoy Está En Tu Lugar” reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. This further proved that the music icon continues to live in the hearts of her audience.
